Egis Bdpa has been awarded the contract "Technical assistance to the Public Finance Reform programme" in Syrian Arab Republic. Egis Bdpa is leader of the consortium - Crown Agents - Altair Asesores – Financing from the EU.
The project aims to provide technical assistance in the field of public finance reform to improve the effectiveness of public expenditure management and to deepen and broaden revenue reform. This should be done through a number of activities including the undertaking of a full public expenditure and financial accountability assessment, capacity building for the budget planning, roll-out of charts of accounts, financial reporting, budget execution, tax policy, revenue planning, tax collection and Expansion of the tax base.
The duration is 45 months.
